Out the window of the plane. There was Koen, just letting me know he was there. I knew it was him, right away. The way the colors danced across the sky in the dark, right there beside me.

Barefoot Hike – Austria
Inspired by Dr. Joanne Cacciatore from the MISSFoundation (missfoundation.org/about/joanne-cacciatore), we decided to take off our hiking boots in honour of Koen during our summer trip to Austria and hike the last leg of our ascent barefoot.
